Walk Safely to School at Noranda Primary School!

Chad Barns

Today Noranda Primary School celebrated National Walk Safely to School Day. Our Your Move leaders have been busy promoting the event by displaying posters around the school as well as making announcements over the PA each day.

As students arrived at school, those who got to school actively were able to enjoy some juice, fruit and yogurt that was kindly donated by Woolworths Noranda and picked up by one of our parent volunteers. Students were also able to collect a sticker and temporary tattoo for actively getting to school.

Our Your Move leaders also set up some physical activity stations for students to participate in when they got to school including some fun obstacle courses. We had a total of 131 students walk safely to school today which was an amazing effort!
