The Walking School Bus is still going strong at North Morley Primary School. Come and see what a typical Friday morning looks like.....

It is 8:10am and my boys and I are about to head off to collect our first passengers.

By 8:15am we have three more students who just live down the road.

The park is our big meeting spot - everyone who wants to join us needs to be there by 8:25am. Even our big Year 5 & 6's like to come along! A couple of our families drop kids off here and head straight to work (and avoid the school drop-off traffic!!).

Well it is 8:35am and we've made it to school before the first bell goes at 8:40am. Everyone has had a lovely walk, a catch up with friends and are feeling good to start the school day. And me? I get a lovely walk home in peace...

I love your exposé on the WSB Emma - you have really nailed the key elements and benefits. Your term 3 update has earned you 90 points, plus a bonus 10 for making is such a good read. Looking forward to hear what other good news comes out of the upcoming spring weather in term 3!
