Bicycle Assembly Term 2

This week, the Year 4 Your Move team presented their assembly to the whole school, showcasing Bike Education as their theme. Everyone in Yr 4 has the responsibility to takes turns to encourage and remind the rest of the school to continue with Active Travel when they come to Osborne each morning. Your can see some of our Yr 4 team handing out active travel stickers....

Our Assembly was all about bike facts, bike songs and coming to school on bikes, safely. Did you know, the largest tandem bike ever made has 35 seats?

We also used the assembly to reminded parents and the school community, about our recently installed bike and scooter racks. Everyone wants a spot in the new racks, but it's "first in best dressed." Parents have also been seen trying out the "easy to use", bike repair station.

35 seats? 😜 That is CRAZY - but very interesting!! Your team have obviously put a lot of effort into developing a very engaging YM assembly item - well done everyone, you have earned 25 points for the item, plus 10 points for a sharing all the content in your story. You imply that parents were struggling with the bike repair station - I bet the kids had it all worked out right away! 🤣
