A committed and energetic Parents and Citizens Association provide invaluable support to the educational program at the school. There is strong focus on maintaining positive and productive school-community relations which benefits all concerned. Port Kennedy Primary School opened in 1996, catering for students in Kindergarten through to year 6. In 2017 we proudly became an Independent Public School and we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service to our families and local community. We have a strong affiliation with the Royal Australian Navy, in particular the HMAS Stirling and offer a Defence Force Transition Aide for children with parents who are in the forces. Our 4 factions are named after submarines: Rankin, Collins, Sheean and Waller.
