On Friday 6th November students across the school were able to bring bikes, scooters, roller skates, skateboards and remote control cars to raise money to purchase gifts for the Lucy Saw Centre. We had a great time riding around the school carparks and basketball courts and skating in the undercover area. We followed safety rules ensuring we wore our bike hats and safety gear.

Hi Sue - thanks for sharing your "Lucy Saw Centre" fundraising special event. I have linked the story to the related activity and it gives you 40 points. I note that you haven't given a term 4 update on your regular Fume Free Friday - let me know if this fundraiser was part of your regular AT day and I can upgrade your points. If so, how often do you have your FFFs?

By the way, I'm intrigued by the idea of remote control cars being involved. How on earth did you manage to keep things running smoothly?

Hi James, we have the remote control cars in a safe zone away from bikes and scooters. Our quadrangle has a great surface for the cars.
