Active transport to the Goods Shed

On a sunny Friday morning our Year 3/4 class visited the Goods Shed in Claremont for a history excursion.

Twenty four students and their teacher, along with parent helpers, walked from Rosalie to the train station to catch a train to Claremont Showgrounds. The students were given a road safety briefing before heading off and really enjoyed both the walk and the train ride. After some fun looking at ancient relics they boarded the train and headed back to Shenton Park for the walk back to school. Pictured below are the students waiting for the train at Claremont Showgrounds.
