Tackling congestion around the school

Jo Pierce
14

Each morning and afternoon the rangers from Subiaco council place witches hats/cones adjacent to the school crossing to prevent cars dropping off students close to where students walking are crossing the road. This enables cars travelling past the school to have full vision of the crossing. A kiss and go drop off zone has been installed further from the school on Onslow Road.

HI again Jo! Thanks for sharing how the Subi rangers are helping out at Rosalie - great to hear how it is making student crossings safer. While we don't have an activity to link this story to, I can give you 10 points for sharing the details of this cooperative effort.
