Constable Care visits Rostrata

A very special visitor came to see all of our Year 1 and Pre-Primary students on Thursday, 27th May! Constable Care came to Rostrata and talked to students about “Getting to School Safely”.

During his performance for our students, Constable Care used his amazing tambourine time machine so that ‘Mandy’ could experience getting to school by walking, riding and traveling in the car – all on the same morning! Along the way Mandy met up with Granny and Tommy and even a nutty Professor, and discovered that there are some simple things we can remember that will make our journey fun and safe, no matter how we get there.

As well as a whole lot of fun, students learnt about walking safely, crossing the road, way finding, school drop off areas, bike safety, using footpaths and bike paths, direction signalling, seat belts, school zones and safe speeds, as well as exiting cars safely.

Thanks for coming Constable Care!
