Hands Up Survey Shows Improvement

Last week St Augustine's ran our hands-up survey for the end of 2021 and the results were outstanding.

55 out of 177 students (29%) used active travel to get to school. This is a big leap from our last springtime hands-up survey (Sept 2020) where only 32 out of 161 students used active travel (20%).

All areas of active travel had an increase in behavior change since our spring-time survey last year. Students catching the bus increased by over 200% and we almost doubled the number of cyclists since last year. An 11% decrease in driving is something to be proud of as a school community!
