I was lucky enough to be invited to Rockingham's Your Move School Network Meeting to showcase St Augustine's Park(ing) Day event from 2021. This was my first YMSN Meeting. We started by introducing each participant and it was great to put a face to the names of some of the champions from other school who's stories I have read and taken inspiration from.
After the introductions I shared my presentation. It was fun to share our experiences and hopefully inspire other champions as they have inspired me (the great circle of YM!).
Carol-Ann invited me to stay on in the meeting to hear the YM update, and I was delighted to have the opportunity to learn some extra information about YM. We heard about Connecting Schools Grants, YM data analysis, key dates for Term 3 and the YM Awards.
After that, Kieran from the City of Rockingham shared CoR's plans for Bike Month. It sounded like a very exciting month for Cor residents and schools.

Hi again Lindi! I'm impressed to hear about your cross border incursion to Rockingham. Next you'll be doing a Ted talk 😉. You have earned 25 points for participating in this school network meeting and another 10 points for sharing all the points covered. Now that I know that CoR have some plans for Bike Month I'll have to give Kieran a prompt to post a story too 😆.
