St Joseph's Day Fair

Paul O'Donnell
St Joseph's College

What a combination of events in one day! St Joseph's College celebrated National Cycle to School Day, St Patrick's Day and had our College patron, St Joseph's, school fair all on Friday 17th March.

There was a fantastic response with lots of students (and parents!) cycling to school for the day. Many students also used their bikes in the bike skills activities available at the fair. Stuart Passmore, from Passmore Cycles, was on hand to provide free bike checks and maintenance tips for the bike owners. The obstacle course was a challenging but rewarding activity and the balance test was only completed by two super cyclists!

We look forward to increasing the numbers of cyclists for next year's event!
