Improvements Incoming!

Woo-hoo!! I am so excited to let other schools know that SVPS was lucky enough to be awarded a grant this year. This is the first time we have achieved this and let me tell you a little hard work and dedication to this program really pays off and I encourage all schools to implement activities throughout the school during the year to promote active transport.

We met with Carol-Ann and confirmed our grant just the other week. We posted about our success in the school newsletter to let all staff, students, parents and other community members know. We will continue to update them on how this grant money is used to improve active transport within our school.

We are located in a very low SES area, where unfortunately theft can be a regular occurrence. Our top priority is to build a safe and secure structure for our students to store their bikes and scooters safely while they're busy learning at school. This in turn will hopefully encourage more students to ride school with peace of mind knowing that their bikes or scooters cannot be taken.

We look forward to updating you on our progress and hope to motivate others to achieve the same for their school next year or in the near future :)

You have shared some wonderful news with your school community Miss Bri! That $7499 CS grant will go a long way to improve the bike parking facilities. Yes Swan View is a great example of reaping the rewards for putting in the effort - well done 🤩! You have earned 22 points for your newsletter post this term, plus 10 points for giving us all the background.
