The Balga Friday Markets will recommence on Friday 11 September.

In order to maintain a safe shopping environment, please follow social distancing measures and hygiene practices.

For more information on COVID-19 safety measures, please refer to the WA Department of Health website here.

The Balga Friday Markets are a volunteer-run, outdoor market that has operated at Princess Wallington Reserve Balga since 1981. All of the market’s profits are invested back into the local and surrounding communities via grants to a variety of groups, such as junior sporting clubs, community groups, seniors groups, school P&C associations, children’s charities, Telethon and more. In 2018, the Balga Friday Markets re-invested $40,000 into your community.

Due to the upcoming redevelopment of Princess Wallington Reserve, the Balga Friday Markets have relocated to Mirrabooka Regional Open Space (next to Stirling Leisure Centres – Mirrabooka – Herb Graham Recreation Centre). Mirrabooka Regional Open Space boasts a shady, grassed area, on-site parking and the support of the Stirling Leisure Centres – Mirrabooka - Herb Graham Recreation Centre. The open space is also walking distance to the Mirrabooka Bus Station and Mirrabooka Square Shopping Centre.

Market sellers offer a huge variety of new and second-hand items including homewares, clothing, toys, plants, gardening equipment and tools. There are also fresh fruit and vegetables, food and drink options available and much more. It’s likely you will find something interesting, as well as a bargain or two, every time you visit!

Parking is available onsite, however volunteers will assist with parking and traffic flow. Please ensure you follow all traffic directions and park responsibily. Infringtements will apply for illegal parking on verges, ACROD bays, footpaths.
