WA Bike Month, Western Australia’s annual celebration of bike riding, is back this October!

The primary aim of WA Bike Month is to promote and encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and/or for a healthier lifestyle. There will also be a focus on supporting WA local business, to assist Western Australia’s COVID-19 recovery.

WA Bike Month 2020 will be held from October 1 to 31 and is co-ordinated by WestCycle with the support of the Department of Transport

 

WA Bike Month Instagram Photo Competition

To celebrate the lead-up to WA Bike Month 2020, we are calling on enthusiastic bike riding champions like yourself to help to get more people to ride bikes for transport, fun and for a healthier lifestyle. 

Each week in September and October, two people and their nominated friend will win a $100 bike shop voucher each by entering our exciting Instagram photo competition!

This competition is your opportunity to show the rest of WA just how great bike riding is and offer your support to your friends and family. 

It’s easy and fun to enter, just follow these three easy steps to enter:

  • Step 1. Take a photo of yourself and/or your favourite bike whilst out on a ride. This can include your favourite place to ride, your favourite bike, your favourite coffee shop to visit by bike or your local WA Bike Month event
  • Step 2. Share your photo on Instagram using the #ridetogetherWA hashtag 
  • Step 3. Tag a friend/family member you want to encourage or challenge to ride a bike in October

You can enter as many times as you like! Winners will be selected based on how closely their entry represents the aims of WA Bike Month – encouraging more people to ride, and sharing what makes riding so much fun.

If you are selected as one of our lucky winners, you can select a voucher for any Bike Shop listed on our Bike Shop Locator.
