In 2022 the Leadership Labs look a little different. The Your Move team will be bringing you the same great content but in a new format combining online learning with in-class elements. Participating schools will take part in an initial two-hour workshop with Millennium Kids (either online or in school) and then join up with seven other schools online to pitch their project plan to our expert panel.
The Labs will be facilitated by Millennium Kids, using project-based learning tools to engage and empower the students.

Participating Your Move Leadership Lab schools will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for change to a panel of travel behaviour change experts at an online event scheduled for Wednesday, 6 April 2022 between 1.00pm and 2.15pm. The winning school will receive 100 Your Move reward points to help get you implement your plan.

The two-hour workshops will include:

Be introduced to Millennium Kids Project Based Learning tools

Fun and interactive leadership games

Project based learning – the opportunity to co-design your school’s Your Move strategy to increase walking and riding in your community

The creation of a clear project plan by identifying barriers to active travel at your school, developing solutions and thinking about how your team will bring your class or school together to create change

Development of a pitch presentation to outline change making ideas
