Thornlie Senior High School opened in January 1971, some 50 years ago. There is going to be a big celebration in November but during the whole year there are smaller celebrations to mark this special year. Yesterday, on Ride2School day, we had a photo taken of the students who rode to school on their bike or scooter. The students gave up their lunch break for the photo and on a very hot day gathered on the oval in the shape of a 50. It is a sensational photo!

That is an impressive photo Sue - do you have an inhouse drone pilot? You have earned another 10 points for sharing this element of your R2SD event.

Thank you James. No, we do not have an in-house drone. We got someone in to take our photo and a photo of the colour run students at the end of the day. Our 50 was a little tidier than the colour run photo!
