Our Community Health Nurse, Sue, received an email in June asking for feedback on the City of Gosnells 10-year bike plan. The only problem was we had only 5 days to provide feedback. We called an urgent Your Move meeting that was held on the 15th of June and we then emailed the City of Gosnells asking for an extension. We did provide feedback after a second meeting.

Here is a photo of the Your Move team viewing the bike plan.

Whilst we were meeting, we also discussed an idea that the Principal had explored with the school board earlier in the week and with the P & Association to assist with the congestion out the front of the school at the end of the day. The Your Move team came up with some issues that the new plan might create. These issues were fed back to the P & C President to respond to the Principal.

The Your Move team has provided very thoughtful feedback on a variety of issues over the last few years.

Here is a photo of the students looking at the front of the school, discussing the congestion after school and the ideas to try and combat the congestion.

Nice one Thornlie student leaders! Your reflections and ideas will be instrumental to the development of both the City and School Administration's plans. Congratulations team. That's 10 points for your Term 3 meeting, 10 bonus points for storytelling and 40 points for your reference group work 🙌🏽
