Bust a Move morning tea

The Bust a Move morning tea not only boasted good food; it provided ToVP Admin staff with the logistics for the new pilot (staff incentive) program, an opportunity to write down their new travel mode goal on their own personal pledge desk blackboards (which then acted as a prompt over the 4 week challenge), a barriers and benefits mini workshop to iron out any perceived issues (and solutions) around active and sustainable transport modes to and from work, followed by a quick mapping exercise for car poolers to connect! All in 1 hour WOW!!!!!! :)

Hi Nichola, I love those pledge boards. Did you get them produced especially for 'Bust a Move'? These look like they could be a great item for our shop. I will be in touch. Also I would love to know how many people attended your morning tea and if you had good managment support? Hope you had a great long weekend and thanks for being such a champ!

Hi Kylie, around 30 staff attended :) Yes I got them through ASB marketing, we had good management support with the CEO pictured above participating in the workshop and another director also. Thanks

What a great idea! At community events we sometimes use a plain blackboard which we customise with removable adhesive lettering made by a local printing company which is quite a low cost way of getting great photos of people sharing their thoughts. Love the idea of the get-together to discuss barriers and goals!
