In April 2019 WALGA staff were invited to complete a travel survey. There was a 65% response rate. The results showed the predominant mode of transport to and from work was in the car as the driver alone (31%), followed by public transport plus walking (20%). There were numerous suggestions provided by staff to promote active and public transport including providing incentives, improving the end of trip facilities, activities and bicycle education. These results are valuable for WALGA and suitable actions can now be progressed.

Hi Kylie, We used an incentive to encourage people to participate in the survey. It appears that the incentive worked!
