Term 1 2022 is coming to an end for us all and I am catching up on some stories I have been meaning to post, although time and COVID time off has restricted me unfortunately, like I am sure you have all been experiencing in our schools this term.
Yesterday I completed our second bulletin for the term and I was happy to share a page I did up on the winners and a collection of a few photos from our National Ride2school day event. It was a great event for Term 1 and getting the new Your Move Team on the job was great, as the students really enjoy being involved in the process of planning and assisting on the day.
I think its great having a team of students in schools, who are keen to help the school to achieve our challenges and as students they are encouraging their peers to be more active and to ride, scoot, skate, walk or if too far catch public transport to school. What a vibrant celebration of the success of your NR2SD event Leslie - thanks for sharing that Bulletin article. We haven't yet given you points for starting a student team this year, and it is clear from this story that you definitely have one and that they have been busy helping out.
