Congratulations to Room 11, our first class over the finish line in just 7 weeks. Well done Team for correctly predicting who & how long it would take (we used previous HU data to assist with the prediction!) SUPER WELL done to Room 11 for taking the lead & then maintaining it the whole way! As a special CHALLENGE, the Team has presented Room 11 with a second map to see if the time can be improved upon! The 1st prize basket will be presented to Room 11 at this week's Assembly.
The class prize basket comprised a copy of Graeme Base's "Uno's Garden", a backpack "raincoat", a drink bottle, 2 bike bells & pens & slap bands.
The Team found out a number of things along the journey. Room 11 has consistently led the way in this class competition. Consequently Room 11 has been the holder of our Senior Warnbro Walker Award for the whole term. Room 11 has also consistently had an average AT rate of 67% for Terms 2 & 3. For Term 3 an average AT of 72%. WOW what a great example for the rest of the school! The Team has also enjoyed keeping the tally with the beautifully presented maps.
Mentor's note: this could be a goer again for next year. Have to discuss with the Team & see if it would be a recommendation for 2021!

Another great term of walking around Australia - I hope the kids still have soles on their shoes! Those AT rates are very impressive (and the analysis has earned you 15 points on top of the 60 for the comp, and bonus 10 for all the deets).
