Conveniently, it was STRIVE assembly today (just prior to our walknwheel day to celebrate Bike Month). So the Team swung into action with all the news. Team presenters were Brianna & Ruby.
Good morning everyone. Our HU Champion is R16 with 55% choosing AT. Well done to everyone who chose AT as the way to come to school. We now have 185 Star Carders. That is more than 70% of the school. Remember every Toesday that you use AT, you get another STAR. 5 in a row is a pick from the prize box. And REMEMBER that coming to school by public transport (bus &/or train) is using AT.
Continuing our 10 years of being an ACTIVE school: In 2020, we ran the ACTIVE TRAVEL FOOTPRINT as a class competition during Term 2 because COVID19 delayed NWS2SD till September. In Term 3 Race Around Australia was the class competition. We also participated in Winter Walk to School Day.
Friday is WalknWheel to School Day so join one of our hosted walks to school. You might even be a Wonderful WalknWheeler on the day! And when you get to school, swing by & enjoy a smoothie made by the blender bike. All part of participating in Bike Month!
