YM schools in the city of Rockingham met this afternoon to discuss & share all things ACTIVE happening in our schools. High on the agenda was discussion of the recent Showcase, held in Term 3. This was a "first" with the possibility of it becoming a regular event on the COR/YM calendar.
From there we went onto discuss 2020 planning, such as Bike Week, NWS2SD, Bike Month & scheduling networking meetings. Carol-Ann, our YM/DoT "go-to" whizz, walked through YM for our newbies. Always good to hear the good oil, Carol-Ann! As always plenty of questions & healthy, helpful discussion on possible "how-to's."
It is always good to see new faces while at the same time acknowledging the stalwarts who have been the backbone of this networking group (COR, Baldivis SC, Charthouse PS & Warnbro PS). This group started back in 2015 & has been meeting each term (since then) to plan & discuss YM activities at our schools & more broadly in Rockingham.
Next year's Term 1 meeting is already in our calendars!
