Day 2 of this term & the Team was already promoting AT. Yesterday the Team welcomed the school back at the STRIVE assembly. Here is what Emma & Ruby had to say:
Good morning, everyone. We now have 157 Star Carders. Remember every Toesday that you use AT, you get another STAR. 5 in a row is a pick from the prize box. And REMEMBER that coming to school by public transport (bus &/or train) is using AT.
Continuing our 10 years of being an ACTIVE school: In 2016, we took out the Biennial TravelSmart ACHIEVE & CHAMPION Awards. RAC Little Legends visited our classrooms. A Winter-Warm-up class competition was run in Term 3 & in Term 4 we farewelled Walk Over October.
Big Foot is COMING! Winter Walk to School Week is Week 5 of this term. All you need to do is add your AT data onto the BIG FOOT! The classes with the highest rate of AT during WW2SW will receive a class prize pack so get those feet moving! Keep a look out for posters around the school. Thank you & REMEMBER: ACTIVE BODY ACTIVE MIND!

Thanks, James. More to come with Big Foot! We decided to do a "walk down memory lane" as a celebration of 10 years & so that everyone is aware of the milestones our successive Teams have achieved through the years.
