Sienna reports on the finale to our BW:

There were 3 parts to our event: scooters, bikes & feet! It was held on Friday, 13th of March. The YM Team, with Ms Riley & Mrs Yates, organized & ran RROF. We set up the gear 3 times; Pre-Primary -Year 1, Year 2 & 3 and then Year 4,5 & 6. After the event we packed up all the gear needed for the day (cones, soccer balls, nets, hurdles, sacks) We ran the event to get people to ride to school & be active. We gave out raffle tickets to all participants; if you scooted, biked & ran you got 3 raffle tickets. These were for a chance to have a pick from the YM prize box. We drew the raffle tickets on Monday during our YM session & the winners can pick from the prize box after Assembly on Wednesday. We gave out raffle tickets to make it more fun & to encourage more to participate. Thank you to all the parents who came.

Following, some of the action on the day.

Mentor's note: Our YM Team numbers were down so we recruited 2 others from the Leadership group (thanks Mia & Ruby!) to make us a group of 6, so we would have 2 at each station. What a mighty effort Team!

I love the idea of soccer on a scooter - next maybe you will combine sack racing with scooters too! Having the Obstacle Course addition to your R2SD has upgraded your event day to 'outstanding', bringing with it 20 bonus points, plus 10 points for all the details on how it worked on the day.
