The CCSS was really fun. We got to ride bikes around this track with traffic lights & cool props such as a bus stop, train station & buildings like a school & library. For some of the time we learnt road safety & how to be a good pedestrian. I learnt about different lines on the road mean different things like if there's a dotted line on a road, at an intersection, it means if there's another car coming you must stop & if there are no other cars you can keep going. Brody
At the excursion we had to be cyclists & pedestrians. When being a pedestrian I found houses, a train station & a bus stop. I had to use the zebra crossing & wait till the traffic lights were green. As a rider I had to stop, slow down & go around the roundabout correctly. Laghima
When we went to the CCSS we learnt about road safety. We got to be a car driver too. We also learnt about safe clothing to wear when riding a bike, like closed-in shoes. We learnt the correct way to fit a helmet. Under the chin strap you should only be able to fit 2 fingers. Under the ear you make a V-shape & at the forehead you have gap of just 2 fingers. Brianna
