Our YM Team is planning a Winter Warm-up decorate your cupcake competition. To enter you will need a gold coin because we are fundraising towards our bike shelter.
The competition will run for 2 weeks. It will start on the 15th August. There will be some cool prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. All entries will be displayed around school after judging.
Prizes will include umbrellas, backpacks, backpack "raincoats," drink bottles & other good stuff from the YM shop! We still have to work out what will be for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
The YM Team will be judging the competition on the 29th August, during our YM time.
Mentor's note: The YM Team wanted to fundraise with a cupcake stall but there were lots of problems with that so they compromised, keeping the cupcake theme but changing it to a decorate your (paper) cupcake. Granted not as tasty but getting around the problem!

Great stuff guys! This is such an innovative way to raise funds for such a great cause and a really good example of being flexible, finding a compromise and using creative ways to provide much needed bike infrastructure. (P.S. - It'd be great to see some of the winning entries! :)
