Katrina & Cohen McL. sum up the success of Winter Warm-Up Cupcake:
We made cupcake posters to tell everyone about the competition. We also went to the classes to tell them about it. There were a few different cupcake designs to choose for decorating.
I think it would have been better if the competition was harder. I learnt running a competition is hard because the judging is the hardest.
From 15th to 28th August we hosted a Winter Warm-Up competition. The YM Team created cupcake pictures & had them printed for the competition. We made posters & placed them around the school. Luckily 76 people entered.
In total, $76. 55 was raised. We found 55 cents on the ground (so we added it to what we had raised through the competition.) We are getting closer to our bike shelter!
Congratulations to Sophia in EC1 & Victoria in Room 11, our first place winners.

Great idea, thanks for the update Katrina & Cohen :). So you're working towards a new Bike Shelter? Keen to see what else the team thinks of to continue working toward this goal.Report comment
