Bike Donations Appreciated

WDPS is very appreciative of the number of people in the local community who have donated bikes to the school. This has meant that all students have had the opportunity to access a bike for the bike education sessions. As a result, it has been amazing to see some of the students that have never owned a bike learn to ride for the first time then participate in the bike ed program. The goal is to continue to build the supply of bikes which will be stored at the school. Members of the student team will take a basic bike maintenance course in Term 2 to make sure the donated bikes are in good working order!

What a great way to include students in the bike education. We'd love to know more about how you secured the donations. You have earned 25 points for organising this bike fleet, and I have added 10 points for a good read and 30 points for your innovitive solution to a bike shortage.
