The Westminster school’s Walk safely to school event was a great success. Families met in 2 local parks and walked to school together. Our Your Move Student Squad were very helpful in handing out the I love walking stickers we got from the reward shop. Once at school, the staff had prepared a healthy breakfast which was enjoyed by the school community. It was a great social event that combined the Westminster ESC and Westminster Primary Schools in a collaborative effort.

What a great collaboration between the two schools! Is this breakfast event different to the one that you hosted in May? You have earned 10 points for posting the story and I added 10 points for a good read :) Now that the school community have successfully tried parking and walking, you could consider starting a park and walk initiative (worth 60 points!).
