We were very excited to claim our PLATINUM grant! The Your Move Committee met to decide what we might spend it on. We thought we had a great idea but that has all changed now and we have to re-think our plan.
We also had a look at the Safe Routes to School Map that was a bonus we claimed earlier in the year. We added 2 more routes to the map but otherwise we were very impressed. Can’t wait for this to be finalised and given to parents.
Also discussed the pavement painting which has now been scheduled. Miss Calvert just has to finalise some details but we are looking forward to getting out and painting.
We then discussed the upcoming RAC incursions that we have planned.
Miss Calvert also unveiled her plan for Bike Month – October in the hope that it will inspire teachers to do some Your Move lessons. Let’s hope it works!
