New infrastructure a huge hit!

There has been lots of excitement over the week about our new infrastructure that we were able to access through the Connecting Schools Grant. We got 2 new bike racks, 2 bike shelters and a bike repair station! And there is more to come!

Already we have seen the excitement from students and parents alike. There has been an increase in bikes at school and students are even trying out the repair station to pump up their tyres.

The staff at Winterfold have been aware of the process and what was coming, but even they were amazed at how good it all looks. There have been loads of lovely compliments and congratulations.

The usefulness of this infrastructure is not only limited to storing and repairing of bikes. Miss Molony took her Technology class out to look at the materials used and the purpose of the tools. Double value!

Thank you Your Move for such a fantastic program and grants! We are already looking forward to the 2022 grants!

Looks fantastic, Julia. Well done Team & Julia! Talk about "value-adding"; great to see other teachers incorporating YM into class activities.

Wow - Winterfold is starting to look like a trainstation in the Netherlands - I don't think I have seen such a long stretch of bike parking in WA! You have earned 40 points for updating us on your Connecting Schools grant and another 10 points for all the juicy details. Thanks for sharing the joy!
