This week, Winterfold enjoyed an incursion from RAC. Every class from PrePrimary to Year 6 were visited in their classroom to learn about road safety.
Students learned about passenger safety, being safe on the roads, bicycle safety, avoiding risky behaviour and going green.
Year 3/4 student learned about being a safe passenger, avoiding distractions for the driver and the importance of seatbelts.
The upper school classes had an awesome time making and testing solar cars on the basketball court.
This is a great free incursion for the entire school and we ensure that we book it every year!

I hear so much how the kids love these incursions - I can see why it has a regular slot in the Winterfold calerdar, Julia. I hope there weren't too many crash-test eggs with sore heads this time 🤣! Winterfold has earned 25 points for organising this incursion, 20 points for getting the whole school involved and 10 points for details.Report comment
