Thanks to Your Move, the whole school got to enjoy the RAC Little Legends Incursions this week. Junior classes learned how to cross the road safely and got to participate in some explicit and silent simulations and role play. They practised how to STOP, LOOK, LISTEN and THINK. Other classes learned about road safety and took away some excellent safety tips to consider over the school holidays. They learned to be extra careful because small mistakes can create an accident. Year 4 students learned about passenger safety and the importance of wearing a seatbelt and not distracting the driver. Upper school classes got to make solar powered cars and race them. The feedback from classes is that these incursions were engaging and interaction with important messages.

This is an awesome free incursion. The students are engaged and interested throughout the whole lesson and the feedback from teachers is that the information is valuable, important and delivered expertly!
