Survey Completed ... but not the results we wanted

For the last 2 weeks our senior students, who are most of our riders, have been doing swimming lessons. With that in mind, we decided to hold of doing our Hands Up Survey until this week.

Unfortunately, the result are not as good as we would have liked. We thought with the new infrastructure being installed, we might have and increase in riders. This did seem to be the case for the weeks following the installation.

Possible reasons for the lack of improvement could be the weather. Last week it was rainy, this week has started of humid. Parents have previously indicated that the traffic is an issue too, especially as we back onto a private school. Traffic is very heavy during school run times.

Whatever the reason, it has been decided that we need to do some huge promotions to get students on their bikes again!

Hi Julia - strangely enough, many schools have been expressing various levels of dissatisfaction with their recent HUS. So perhaps the weather has been a big factor this March? Regardless, of course you are perfectly right - the best thing to do is some motivating YM activities! You have earned 20 bonus for for really engaging our attention with your story, on top of the 50 points you automatically get when uploading a HUS in T1 or T4. I'll be staying tuned to see how you get everyone back on their bikes!
