Winterfold did not walk away a winner at this year's award; however, that did not stop me having an awesome time celebrating other school's successes. It was great to see so many and be able to chat about our Your Move programs and what we are achieving. Networking is the best part of these get togethers.
We heard from two key note speakers - Jai Hindley and Dr Jasper Schipperijn. Dr Jasper presented some interesting information about structuring cities and communities around being more active.
I even got to have a chat with the Fremantle Mayor, Hannah Fitzhardinge. As Winterfold is in her area, we had a lovely chat and will be organising a visit shortly.
Huge thank you to all the Your Move team who put on this fabulous event. I can't wait to attend the next one!

It is great to know that the Awards event was a winner for you Julia, and particularly that you appreciated to opportunity to network and share ideas informally. You have earned 50 points for attending the Awards and I look forward to hearing of how the Mayor's visit goes later on 😊.
