Our wonderful community braved the chilly conditions and joined one of two walking school buses to promote National Walk Safely to School Day. Pre-Primary to Year 6 students were surveyed on their mode of transport to Woodland Grove on this day. 50% of the student population travelled safely to school using active transport. We even had our event recognised by Public education in Western Australia Facebook page.

Hi Clayton - it's rewarding to see you have been recognised by the Department of Education on their FB page for your WS2SD. Even more so when you have also got half of the school population using active transport! Well done. I have linked the story to the WS2SD activity which has given you 40 points, plus you have a bonus 10 for sharing the percent AT you achieved.

Hi again Clayton! Were the WSBs especially for the event day or are they a regular occurrence?
