My COVID Commute

Like a lot of people in Perth my commute has changed in response to COVID. I've swapped from a regular public transport user (with the odd ride to work thrown in for exercise) to regular bike rider (with the odd public transport trip due to wet weather).

And I'm loving it.

I live 22 km from work so I find the ride, even on my electric bike, a little long clocking in at over an hour. This is why riding has never managed to bump public transport as my preferred way to get to work. But at the moment, I have a husband working from home who can drop me half-way giving me a much more manageable 30 minute ride to work. My favourite part of the ride is around Daglish station where the path has mature trees and an established under-story - it is just gorgeous.
