Applying for a Bike Boost grant

After attending the Bike Boost Forum and getting so much inspiration, St Augustine's are getting ready to boost our bike activity during the finer weather of term 4, we have applied for a $250 grant for a small Bike Month event through WestCycle.

Our plan is to provide students with a raffle ticket for each day in October that they ride their bike to school, with bonus tickets earned for encouraging friends or family to ride with them. The raffle will be drawn at the end of October and we have requested that the Grant cover a voucher from a local bike shop to be 1st prize (we can even supplement some prizes from the rewards store).

We hope that this will help to encourage both new and novice riders as well as our consistent riders to increase cycling their cycling in October, into the rest of Term 4 and beyond.
