After registering for National Walk Safely to school day Currambine Primary was given the opportunity to help promote the national event. A photographer came out and took photos of the students and the principal Geoffrey Smith provided pertinent quotes about the importance of the day. The news articles were seen by thousands as it was not only in our local paper but also on the Perth Now News streaming site. https://www.perthnow.com.au/community-news/joondalup-times/currambine-students-to-take-part-in-national-walk-safely-to-school-day-c-1273601

It is hoped that in the future Currambine Primary School will continue to lead the way in promoting active travel to school to the local community.
