To help promote National Ride to School Day, our Yr 6 Your Move Leaders decided to hold a colouring in competition. The sheet was designed by Ryan, one of our Your Move Leaders.
A copy was provided to each class teacher in the week leading up to the event and an entry box was located in the school undercover area for submissions.
During the week, the teachers made time in class for the students to make their masterpieces, with some students taking theirs home to add final touches before returning them to the box.
When the time came to judge the competition, the YR 6 Your Move team had a tough time choosing a winner. In fact they decided to choose 3 winners! Well done to all who participated. Judging by the amount of bikes and the pure excited energy I saw this morning (further stories to follow), this activity certainly helped set the scene for an amazing NR2SD.

It is always good news when judges can't choose a winner 😁. It sounds like your colouring in comp was an effective promo tool for NR2SD and it has earned you 25 points. You have also earned another 10 points for creating a good story from the activity!
