Tuart Hill Primary School celebrated the 22nd anniversary of NW2SD held on the 14th May 2021 with much enthusiasm! Nearly every student from school endeavored to walk to school that day where possible. It was a fantastic turn out and promotion from our school, supported as always by principal Bev and newly formed Your Move student leaders.
The event was promoted through the weekly e-newsletter, facebook, general assembly, YM student leaders announcements over the schools PA system and word of mouth. As always THPS likes to make active travel events epic. Each student who walked to school received a sugar free icy pole as a little treat. They absolutely loved it!!
Student leaders roles included recording down names and respective factions from all students who walked to school, greeting students with a smile, handing out icy poles and promoting future active travel events.
Upcoming events planned: Community Stencil activity (18th May), Ride 2 School Day (before the wet weather sets in) and as always Walk 2 School Wed and Fuel Free Fridays.

I love the new shirts David 😎! Judging by the photos the day was a HUGE success - well done everyone. You have earned 40 points for your event, 25 for your assembly promos and 22 for your school newsletter items, plus a final 10 points for a jolly good read 😍. So I wonder when we'll read all about your stencils and R2SD 🧐?
