Crazy Helmet Day 2023

On Friday 20th October 2023, Aspiri Primary School held our first ‘Crazy Helmet Day.’ What a day it was! The bike racks were full and so were classroom shelving tops with the most fabulous array of colourful and creative helmet designs.

Our students and their families well and truly embraced this challenge and blew staff and fellow students away with the most wonderful ideas displayed on helmets. From inventive space themed designs to recyclable wonders, Halloween terrors, dazzling Christmas themed helmets and all things in between, the full scope of designs was truly incredible.

Each class voted on their favourite design to represent their class. The class winners then came to the office for final judging. K-P, 1-2 and 3-6 categories were selected and then a winner and runner up was awarded for each. The winner took home a back pack full of goodies from Your Move and the runner up took home a stainless steel drink bottle along with other Your Move goodies. All students who came to the office were given minor Your Move prizes.

Pictured above are our classroom winners.

Please enjoy the photos below of all our fabulous classes from across the school enjoying their beautiful helmets. We have more but cannot add anymore to this story unfortunately.

Please also see our latest newsletter which also celebrates this event. Newsletter Issue 10

Thank you to all our wonderful students and families for making our first ‘Crazy Helmet Day’ a great success.
