Walk to School Day

This term’s Walk to School Day was a resounding success! Despite the cold weather, a significant proportion of students and parents rugged up and braved the chilly elements to walk, ride or scoot to school. Happy faces flooded through the school gates as groups of children arrived with their friends, under the watchful eye of their parents and teachers. We certainly did not anticipate that we would not have enough bike racks to secure our various forms of wheeled transport. It was so lovely to see a little school-life normalcy return to Doubleview! Thank you to the P&C for helping to coordinate this event. We are all looking forward to Term 4’s designated day so we can try and beat our percentage of active travel movements within our school community. Stay active Doubleview!
