Bike Maintenance For the Win!

There were a few bumps in the road for our bike maintenance session but we didnt give up! Sickness meant our bike maintenance had to be rescheduled and then an early close created havoc for the team as they rushed to get all the bikes checked. The team from 'People on Bicycles' worked super hard (they were exhausted!) but every child went home happy!!!! I love a happy ending!

Phew - that is good news that it all came together, Karen! You have earned 25 points for getting these bikes all ship-shape (BTW the "Bike maintenance workshop" is actually intended for an interactive session were the kids learn their own maintenance). Can't wait to hear how the Bike Ed sessions go 😊.

Thanks for the tip James - I never knew that the students were meant to be involved and that it was interactive!!!! Ooops!!!!

It is not that they are meant to be involved in the bike checks by People on Bikes, it is just that it is considered a different activity if it is a "bike check" (25 points) rather than a "bike maintenance workshop" (interactive, 25 points). We'll look at changing the activty name to make this more obvious!)
