Walk Safely To School Day

What a wonderful morning at Rockingham Beach Primary School. Staff started the morning chopping fresh fruit and vegetables to prepare 27 platters for crunch and sip. Straight after the assembly, the whole campus went onto the school ovals for a walk and then on returning to class, the student leaders delivered the fruit and vegetable platters. Student leaders also counted the number of students who walked or rode their bikes to school to celebrate this event.

Hi again Sue! Thanks for sharing Rockingham Beach's WS2SD event. Great to hear that the whole school got involved in one way or another. What was the final count of students walking or riding to school? I have linked your story to the associated YM activity and this has given your 40 points. Do you know that if you post photos with your stories you will automatically get an extra 3 points per photo (up to a maximum of 15 points)? See you soon!
