This morning, the Your Move Team met to compare the results from our early March 'hands-up survey' to the results taken from another 'hands-up survey' completed on National Ride2School Day. Our community witnessed a remarkable 35% decrease in car usage, accompanied by a staggering 35% increase in bike usage. While there was a slight 1% decrease in walking, the overall impact was undeniably positive. Our meeting was not just a reflection on these extraordinary results, it was also a brainstorming session on how to sustain this momentum. We deliberated on innovative strategies to keep our community engaged and committed to eco-friendly transportation habits throughout the year. As we forge ahead, we have decided to unite our efforts to ensure that every day at Wembley Downs Primary SChool reflects the vibrancy and sustainability exemplified by National Ride2School Day.

Great to see the team getting together right after the big day to analyse the results - and they must have been pretty happy with the 35% increase 😊. I look forward to hearing how their future plans work out! You have all earned 10 points for this meeting and another 10 for sharing your reflections.
