Winterfold didn't waste time nabbing a Platinum Connecting Schools Grant for 2021 and we have already started receiving the fruits of our labour. We asked for another bike shelter, which is still in process, and some more trikes for our Kindy and Pre-Primary. Our lovely Mr Simojoki put them together for us and we got to surprise those classes with some new wheels. They were especially delighted to see the police and fire trikes which also hold passengers.

Julia, isn't it great that your Team can "give back" to the school in the form of infrastructure & trikes for the younger ones? Not only does it leave a good feeling for your Team but it has a long lasting effect within the school as these structures (& trikes) are there long after the 2021 Team has left the school. Well done WPS YM Team & Julia!

I'm pretty excited about seeing those Police and Fire trikes too 😂 - I can't imagine how the excited the little ones are! Thanks Arlene and James. YM are pretty popular at the school at the moment. I'm already planning how to use next years grant!!
