24 March was National Ride2School Day and of course the Winterfold Your Move Team were on it! The student team were at school super early, wearing our special screen printed hi viz vests and handing out stickers to all our fabulous bike riders.
We conducted a hands up survey on the day and compared the results to our recent beginning of the year survey. It was pretty impressive. This will now be a point of discussion with the student team as to how can we get this response on all the other days.
The Your Move Team also held two competitions for the day. For pre-primary to Year 2 students, they had a colouring in competition. For Year 3 -6 there was a word search. The team spent their lunch break choosing the winners which wasn’t easy as we had so many entries. They also chose prizes and presented these at assembly.
