Bike Excursion Bonanza

Wow, what a way to wrap up our bike education for 2021! On Tuesday this week, 120 of our students had the opportunity to go on a mass bike excursion. We split into groups and headed down to the river following the cycle path around to Deep Water Point. There, we stopped for a sausage sizzle that some of our teachers and P&C members had knocked up for us! On return to school, we had ridden 10kms in total, with a mix of road and path riding. The kids really got to put their skills to the test - a couple of them went from not being able to ride and by the end of the day were pedalling confidently! A huge thanks to all our teachers, parents and 'People on Bikes', as we could not have done it without all the adult supervision! May I mention that we absolutely NAILED the weather!
